Adopt-A-School
The primary purpose of the Louisiana Section Adopt-a-School program is to select an elementary school to which the Section will award a cash donation for use at the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th grade level in the area of science education. It is the Louisiana Section’s desire that the funds be allocated to a specific project or purpose rather than simply becoming assimilated into the school’s general fund. In addition to the cash donation, the Louisiana Section also endeavors to assist the school in its program for the year by providing speakers and arranging other educational offerings throughout the section year.
